Isan

After North Thailand the plan was to enter Laos, but issue with stamps in my passport changed my plans. I had to make a quick trip to Malaysian border. After sorting things out there, I started move north again from Bangkok. Direction was just north, with idea of seeing a bit of Isan which is less visited part of Thailand.
So I did so. Starting from some monuments from Thai Civil War( if i remember properly :) )

For War fans....

Some close shots of airplane meters

And famous Bell

Real machine gun, not like in Malaysia......

Caterpillar :D

Monument

Some nice views

If you read Thai.....

For sure some temples are around :D

The area is called Khao Kho, which is mountanious hot escape enclave for Thai turists. There are not many farangs, plenty of colourfull Thai hotels, pretty high prices, but very nice temperature and stunning views.

At this part I have also found the most amazing Thai temple. For me. Standing few km from main road, looking like was designed by Gaudi. Around green mountains(hotels are just rising :( ). Amazing place.

Hello :)

The views :)

The detailed work on this temple is stunning. So many great details and very, very clean around it. Just Thai turists, not described in any guide book which means that actually you can feel it in this surrounding.

Some buddhas still in construction.

Hi hi. I love this place.

Impressive? Isn't it?

And around......

I think you can actually meditate there, in the smaller bungalows in the garden on the left side.

All temple is decorated with broken ceramic glass. So much work has been done and so many different shapes are created. So amazing.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

And some funny stones around as well.

It is actually pretty big as well

From the road a little sight.

So, if there are mountains, there are turns as well

And some nice views :D

Tirurururu......

Isan is base on agriculture, fields everywhere.

And it is GREEEEEEN !!

After finding my place to sleep in area, I jump on the trip to Nong Khai with Koi and Brian.
The first place to see there was a monument park. Another impressive place.

Uuuuu.... snakes

Thailand :)

Some creations :)

An artists has unfortunatelly died and didn't finished his project, no matter what his job is stunning.

Everything off course is base on some buddha life stories, but I don't understand Thai desriptions around....

Some of monuments are few meters tall. WOW !

And there is soooo many of them.....

Another famous things on the border towns are Indo-China market. Where you can buy everything and nothing. It looks like everyone has the same supplier and is really difficult to find something unique, but you can buy tons of chineese production things, different food and whatever else you can imagine.

After few hours on market I was picked up again by Koi and Brian. Short visit at shopping mall and we went back to hotel. The misterious persons of Koi and Brain will be decribed and explained later on :P
