Well, there is not much to say about that, but it will be nice to know "why". My story is like many others, I have finished studies, started to work abroad and after 2 years I felt that time for changing something in my life has come. Maybe that sounds familiar, maybe that's what many people has done before but for me this decision is turning around everything.
What was difficult? To leave people, places, things which I have achieved, but in my case I felt that this is good time to try my self.
So, I quit the job, said goodbye to people and started a new part of my life from blank page.
Who am I? At the departure day I am 25 years old guy with smile on the face and positive approach to life. This trip will be my first time on the other continent, first time backpacking for such a long time, first time in high mountains(Himalayas are on my route), first time alone in totally new world, first time without schedule and plan. This is "one big first time" for me and I need to believe that I will gain experience on the way.
This blog is short summary of the preparation with small details about what to do and where, but mainly it will be a way to communicate with my family and kind of diary for me, so after few years I will be able to come back to places and people which I have met on the way.
But what I am going to do? I have one-way ticket to Mumbai and a plan to spend first months in Himalayas. I will start from India and then follow to Nepal. I don't have exact plan, I even don't have guide to see most interesting and tourist places, but that's not the point of my trip. This should be an adventure and I will take one day after another. I do have a map of India to know which direction I should go. That's all.
I don't know where will be the end of the story and how it will ends, but I am ready to take a challenge :)
As you will notice later the blog is in two languages. I am coming from Poland and my family is following this blog, so this is favor for them. The English part is for my friends from other parts of world, specially the ones in Copenhagen. If you have a problem with understanding any of those parts, you need to make better contacts with people with some extra language skills and it will be even more funny for you:)
This trip wouldn't have happened without support from Lu, my family, friends and all other people which I have talked before with. Thank you for understanding my decision !
